This month’s BRA Banter features Vanderbilt nurse, Amanda Frazer. With over a decade of experience in both chemo and plastic surgery/breast reconstruction, Amanda became interested in areola tattoos and started conducting her own research. She soon went overseas for special training in this area, and spent a year practicing before tattooing her first patient. Amanda's passion for nipple reconstruction art has grown even more since seeing the psychological benefits (not to mention, physical confidence) it can provide women diagnosed with breast cancer.
