Breast cancer can affect much more than your physical health. Treatment may end, but questions about identity, relationships, your body, emotions, and what comes next can stay with you.
BRA’s Emotional Wellness program creates a space to explore those experiences with other breast cancer survivors who understand.
This is not therapy, and you do not need to be struggling to participate. It is an opportunity to slow down and make space for yourself. Over eight weeks, we explore topics such as emotions, identity, loss and change, relationships, body image, meaning, and what you want life to look like moving forward.
Each small group meets weekly for approximately 90 minutes and is led by trained BRA facilitators. Participants will also receive our new Emotional Wellness Workbook to use throughout the program.
Fall Emotional Wellness Groups
We are currently forming groups for September, with a tentative start the week of September 15. But don’t let that date intimidate you! We have some wiggle room as groups are forming. All groups will need to begin by the end of September so we can complete the full eight weeks before Thanksgiving.
There is value in taking time to reflect on what you have experienced and what you want moving forward!
